This project presents the translation from English to Spanish of Blossom du Jour’s website, a vegan restaurant has four locations in New York City.
The restaurant’s website not only shows where they are located, their menu and their opening hours, but it also seeks to raise awareness regarding respect towards animals and the rescue efforts of different organizations around the world who want to give a second chance and a peaceful life to animals that have been exploited and mistreated by humans.
The translation of the site was the basis of my Master's Degree thesis. For the sake of my thesis, the restaurant wishes to have its website localized for their clients in the city of Valencia, Spain, where they plan to open four more locations.
The Humane League is a non-profit that works to reduce the suffering of farm animals through education. Their campaigns aspire to change eating habits through corporation outreach, demos, and activism, both online and in-person. I did an internship with their branch in Mexico.
I translated posts and news for The Humane League which were used for their blog and also translated the social network etiquette and Instagram account development guidelines, managed their Instagram account and created images for that social platform.

I created a landing page for the Vegano In Fretta company which includes the cities it will be available in and some featured dishes. It also has testimonials and links to download the app in Google Play and the App Store.
The site was first built with HTML5, CSS3 and JS but was later migrated to WordPress to make it easier to update.
El Jardín Vegano was born in April 2014 as an online e-commerce site dedicated to promoting vegan products from brands such as Tofurky, Daiya, Sophie's Kitchen, E.L.F. Cosmetics, and Deva across Mexico.
The project was built on WordPress and, besides working on the theme customization, I also translated the products’ description to Spanish.
For this personal project, I customized a theme to make it colorful and to match the playfulness of the logo. The website included a wish list functionality and had PayPal enabled as a payment method to generate trust.
